Amber Fort - Near Jaipur
(also known as Amer Fort) is located in Amber, 11 km from Jaipur, Rajasthan state, India. It was the ancient citadel of the ruling Kachhawa clan of Amber, before the capital was shifted to Jaipur. Amer Fort is known for its unique artistic style, blending both Hindu and Mughal elements, and its ornate and breathtaking artistic mastery. The fort borders the Maota Lake, and is a major tourist attraction in Rajasthan.

Chittorgarh Fort - Chittorgarh
Chittorgarh Fort is considered the largest fort in India and the best in the state of Rajasthan. It was the capital of Mewar. It was ruled initially by Guhilot and later by Sisodias, the clan of Rajputs, from 7th century A.D. It sprawls majestically over a hill 180 m (590.6 ft) in height spread over an area of 280 hector (691.9 acres) above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River. The fort has spectacular palaces, gates, temples and two impressive commemoration towers.

Mehrangarh Fort - Jodhpur
Mehrangarh Fort- located in Jodhpur city in Rajasthan state is one of the largest forts in India. The fort is situated at a height of 400 feet (122 m) above the city, and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces, which are known for their intricate carvings and sprawling courtyards. Battle scars of canon ball hit by attacking armies of Jaipur can still be seen on the gate. There are seven gates, built by Maharaja Man Singh to commemorate his victories over Jaipur and Bikaner armies.

Taragarh Fort - Kota
Taragarh Fort - or 'Star Fort' is the most impressive of structures of city of Bundi in Rajasthan. It is located around 39 km from Kota upon a steep hillside & offers a panoramic view. There are three gateways to the fort, well known as Lakshmi Pol, Phuta Darwaza and Gagudi ki Phatak. During its heyday, Taragarh Fort was renowned for its tunnels crisscrossing the entire hillside. However, these tunnels are now inaccessible. The largest of its battlements is the 16th century bastion known as the Bhim Burj, on which was once mounted a particularly large cannon called Garbh Gunjam, or 'Thunder from the Womb'.

Junagadh Fort - Bikaner
Junagarh Fort - is an impressive fort in the city of Bikaner, Rajasthan. The fort was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Junagarh or "Old Fort". It is among one of the few forts in Rajasthan which are not built on a hilltop.
It was built by Raja Rai Singhji, the sixth ruler of Bikaner, who ruled from 1571 to 1611 AD.

Jaigarh Fort - Jaipur
Jaigarh Fort - located around 15 km from Jaipur, is one of the most spectacular forts in India. The Jaigarh Fort is on top of the hill & Amber Fort is at the bottom and are connected through well-guarded passages. Jaigarh Fort was a center of artillery production for the Rajputs and it is home to the world's largest cannon on wheels, the Jaivana. A 5km long canal can be seen entering the fort complex to bring in water from the high hills to store in the fort. A huge water tank is centrally located connecting the canal.

Jaipur City Palace
Jaipur City Palace – City Palace forms one of the most famous tourist attractions and a major landmark in Jaipur. The beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. The palace was built between 1729 and 1732 & the premises consists several buildings like Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Mukut Mahal, Maharani's Palace, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. The Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) also forms part of the complex, and extends the Zenana or women's chambers.

Udaipur City Palace
Udaipur City Palace - situated in Udaipur, built by Maharana Udai Singh & is one of the major tourist attractions of the city. The balconies of the palace provide panoramic views of "Jag Niwas" (the world wide famous Lake Palace), Jag Mandir on one side and on the other the city of Udaipur.
Now the palace contains many antique articles, paintings, decorative furniture and utensils and attracts thousands of visitors every day. The former guesthouse of the city palace, Shiv Niwas Palace, and the Fateh Prakash Palace have been converted into heritage hotels.

Golden fort or Sonar Kila - Jaisalmer
It is situated in Jaisalmer. Bhatti Chief Jaisal laid the foundation of the fort in 1156 A.D on Trikuta hill. The fort is also called Sonar Kila or Golden Fort because it is made up of yellow sandstone and seems to ignite into a golden flame when scorched by the desert sun.
